Eight $50K winning Powerball tickets sold in NJ, including Ringwood

The Powerball continues to climb after no winning tickets were sold for Saturday's drawing but eight third-tier prizes were won throughout the state.

The jackpot has hit $750 million and is the third largest Powerball in the game's history. The cash value of the prize is $465.5 million.

The eight tickets matched four of the five balls and the Powerball in seven different counties — Passaic, Hudson, Somerset, Union, Middlesex, Burlington and Camden — winning $50,000.

  • 7-Eleven on Tonnelle Avenue in Jersey City
  • Shoppers Paradise Liquor on North Broad Street in Elizabeth
  • 7-Eleven on St. Georges Avenue in Rahway
  • Ultra Mart Inc. on Park Avenue in Edison
  • News Stand on Route 38 in Moorestown
  • Cheers Wine & Spirits on Route 73 in Voorhees.

The winning numbers for the March 23 drawing were:

24, 25, 52, 60 and 66 and the Red Power Ball number was 05

The Multiplier number was 03

Almost 240,000 tickets won minor prizes in Saturday's drawing.

The Mega Millions jackpot is also continuing to rise, hitting $57 million. One $1 million ticket was sold in Lakehurst.
