Watch: Clouds with breaks on fairly cool day
The battle of clouds and some sunny breaks will continue today as a weak cool front slides through New Hampshire with a northeasterly flow. Much like the last several days, we are talking highs in the 50s to lower 60s (coolest at the coast and warmest in western NH). We may have a few sprinkles in places this morning, but dry otherwise into the afternoon and tonight. A developing coastal storm will develop Saturday morning to our south and then start heading north. Any sort of early sunshine Saturday will give way to clouds, and some rain could start pushing into southern NH as quickly as late afternoon. Highs will be mainly in the 50s. Rain chances (and some of it will be heavy) will really increase from south to north Saturday night and will be heaviest Sunday morning. The heavy rain Sunday morning will lighten in the afternoon, but highs will only be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. 1-2+ inches of rain is possible with this system.Showers will linger at times Sunday night and Monday before we truly get the milder/warmer sunshine back starting Tuesday.
