Dahl, Marian "Bee" Age 93, died October 24, 2018. Born Marian Elizabeth Marks in Kingston, MN on November 30, 1924, she graduated from Litchfield HS in 1942 and went on to business school in the Twin Cities. On July 1, 1944 she married Don Dahl, and devoted her attention to raising her four children. She was a longtime bookkeeper at Hooten Cleaners in Edina, and avidly followed local sports teams, especially the MN Twins. Bee is preceded in death by her parents, Robert William Marks and Fanny Elizabeth Wayrynen, and brothers Robert and Richard. She is survived by her daughters Pam Moe of Mound, MN and Nancy (Mark) Johnson of Cold Spring, MN, sons Craig Dahl of Minneapolis, and Jeff Dahl of Ely, MN, as well as 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Bee died the way she lived, with Finnish Sisu, surrounded by her family, and will be remembered as a strong, independent woman who took extraordinary care of her family, and herself. As a final generous act, Bee has donated her body to the U of M Medical School Anatomy Bequest Program. Her ashes will be interred in the family cemetery in Kingston in Spring 2019. Memorials requested to the Harmon Killebrew Hospice Home for Kids Endowment Fund, which benefits the Crescent Cove Respite and Hospice Home for Children in Brooklyn Center (checks to: 3440 Beltline Blvd. Ste 207, St. Louis Park, MN 55417). Special thanks to the staff and volunteers of MN Hospice, and NC Little Hospice House, for taking such loving care of all of us.
