Officials with the city of Davenport want to know how they're doing. This week city officials will be sending out a survey in the mail to 5,000 randomly selected Davenport residents.

The survey, designed to measure the community's level of satisfaction with the quality of life issues and the quality of city services, is used to assist leaders in the budget process.

City officials will seek input on everything from parks and streets to police and fire services. This will be the fifth time residents have been surveyed since 2010, the last survey was administered in 2016.

The confidential survey takes an estimated 15 minutes to complete and residents are asked to mail it back to the ETC Institute of Olathe, Kansas, the company that has been retained to administer the survey for Davenport or follow the instructions located in the packet and complete it online. For those who are mailing responses, respondents will be provided a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

Some residents may receive a telephone call reminding them to complete the survey. All results remain completely confidential and the City of Davenport will not be informed which residents received or completed surveys.

Those who did not receive an official survey in the mail have an opportunity to take it by following a link provided below. You can find that survey by
