NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Four Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Players have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches' (NABC) Honors Court. Dayton's Jack Westerfield, George Mason's Nick DiClementi, and Saint Joseph's graduates Michael Booth and Kyle Thompson have all been selected for the award.

The Honors Court recognizes those men’s collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season. In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior and have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the end of the 2017-18 academic year.

Westerfield, a junior from Cincinnati, appeared in ten games for the Flyers in 2017-18 and averaged 4.6 minutes per game. He earned a spot on the Dayton All-Academic Team, and the 2017-18 A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll. He recorded first career college points against Saint Joseph's in 2017-18, finishing the game with five points.

DiClementi, who has never received less than an A in any class at George Mason, graduated summa cum laude in May with a degree in government and international politics. The Leesburg, Va., native is currently pursuing his master's degree in sport management while competing for the Patriots heading into 2018-19.

Booth graduated from Saint Joseph's with his degree in pharmaceutical marketing, and earns his second consecutie selection to the Honors Court. A four-year walk-on from Thornton, Pa., he received the team's George Senesky Award for academics this season and is a repeat selection to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Thompson, from Mt. Laurel, N.J., received his SJU degree in interdisciplinary health services and earned recognition for multiple years on the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll. He was a four-year walk-on for the Hawks and this season, earned the Cummins Award for Spirit for the second time in his career.
