Danny O'Donoghue has quit as a coach on 'The Voice', it has been confirmed.
The singer will not return for the third series of the talent show due to commitments with his band, The Script.

In an update on the BBC One Twitter account, a statement read: "Danny O’Donoghue, will not be returning to @BBCTheVoiceUK for next year’s series due to recording commitments with The Script."
He added on his own Twitter: "I had two wonderful seasons on The Voice and as everybody knows I gave it my heart and soul and couldn't be more proud of the show and what we have achieved.
"My focus will be on The Script moving forward as we are about to embark on the most important part of our career as a band. Danny."
His departure follows Jessie J's announcement that she would not be returning in order to focus on her music career.
Remaining coaches Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am are still to comment officially on their future with the show.

Audiences for the second series of 'The Voice' struggled to match those of the first run in 2012, although they pulled ahead for the final last month when Andrea Begley was crowned the winner.
Many questioned the value of winning the show recently when the victor in the first series, Leanne Mitchell, managed to sell fewer than 1,000 copies of her debut album during its first week on sale. It peaked at just 134 in the album chart last month.
