New Mexico State University is about to get buggy.
Researchers in Las Cruces will be releasing sterile mosquitoes this June in an effort to reduce the local population.
They say releasing sterile males will lower the chance of locals catching the harmful Zika virus.
Researchers will be hosting a town hall to answer questions from the public on May 24, in the Annex room on campus.
