The San Francisco Marathon (TSFM) is a "city takeover" kind of event with multiple road closures. Please check out the race course to ensure that you don't get stuck if traffic hell. Better yet, walk over to the closest street the runners are passing by and spend a few minutes cheering them on. The San Francisco Marathon races mostly take place on Sunday and the corresponding Health and Fitness Expo takes place at Fort Mason on Friday & Saturday.
