San Diego Chargers offensive lineman Orlando Franklin indeed found his dream home in California that has great views of the mountains and the surrounding cities.

The former Denver Broncos football player bought a $1.9 million Spanish-inspired home in Poway, Los Angeles Times reported. Citing Multiple Listing Service, the report noted that the real estate agent who brokered the deal for the seller and the buyer was Mary Jo Atkins of Pacific Sotheby's International Realty.

The newly acquired estate of Bronco features five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Other living spaces of the house, built in 2004, include a great room, living room, office and enviable modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, huge center island, granite-lined countertops and several storage units.

Outside, there is a carefully manicured garden with palm trees and banana plants surrounding the swimming pool area, which comes with cabanas. There is also an outdoor covered patio equipped with a television set for entertainment after a refreshing swim. The abode sits on a 1.28-acre California lot with a four-car garage.

Photos of the 6,500-square-foot residence highlight its interior details such as soaring ceilings, an airy ambiance, ornate chandeliers, expansive living spaces, naturally lit rooms courtesy of several windows, large glass panels and recessed lighting, wooden or tiled flooring, fireplaces, custom-fit cabinets and an immaculate white motif. From the inside, the tropical-themed garden is also visible.

Leaving Denver

In March, Franklin could not help but be sad that he was parting with the team he played for four years.

"I loved Denver. Had an amazing four years there. Fans were great. It just (stinks) I didn't have a chance to keep playing there. The fact of the matter is when you don't get offered a deal, they're telling you they don't want you. They didn't even humor me with an offer," the 28-year-old player told Denver Post.

However, the Jamaican native had also conditioned himself that he is out for another adventure in his life with the Chargers.

"But San Diego is beautiful. I'm excited about that. This deal, it's a dream come true," the offensive tackle said.

Franklin inked a five-year, $36.5 million contract with $16.5 million in guaranteed money in the first two years. Aside from the sweet deal, he is set to be reunited with Mike McCoy, his offensive coordinator while at the Broncos from 2011 to 2013. McCoy is now the Chargers' coach.

Watch how Franklin's skills on the field can make him an asset to the San Diego team.
