Bush is the current celebrity ambassador for Goodwill Industries International, and has been touring the country and playing concerts while visiting Goodwill stores along the way. Bush and Goodwill have been promoting the hashtag #GiveItAway to encourage people to donate to Goodwill, who provides services such as job training, child care, employment placement and financial education. According to Goodwill’s website, over 260,000 earned a job with the charity’s help.

Bush’s single, “Trailer Hitch,” off of his debut album Southern Gravity, is being used as a tie-in to the #GiveItAway campaign. The song’s lyrics promote giving: “I may not have that much, but I don’t mind spreading it around […] you can’t take it with you when you go, never seen a hearse with a trailer hitch.” The song peaked at #21 last February on Billboard’s US County Airplay charts.

The first 50 fans in line at the meet-and-green event will receive a free autographed copy of Southern Gravity. Later that night, Bush will be performing at The Troubadour in West Hollywood at 8:00 PM, with special guest Rita Wilson. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased here, with a portion of the proceeds going to ACM Lifting Lives, a branch of the Academy of Country Music that funds music-related therapy and education programs.
