Astel­las an­nu­al can­cer prize goes to mo­bile re­port­ing app to bridge care gaps

Astel­las On­col­o­gy has field­ed hun­dreds of sub­mis­sions from can­cer pa­tients, re­searchers, en­tre­pre­neurs and loved ones in its now sev­en-year-old an­nu­al C3 Prize to crowd­source on­col­o­gy care so­lu­tions.

This year’s win­ner falls in­to the last cat­e­go­ry. Aimee De­Goly­er’s fa­ther died in 2020 af­ter a pre­ventable ad­verse re­ac­tion dur­ing his can­cer treat­ment, so she found­ed Re­pros­ent and cre­at­ed a so­lu­tion aimed at ad­dress­ing symp­tom and in­for­ma­tion gaps be­tween pa­tients and clin­i­cal teams.
