Steve "Sting" Borden was a guest panelist for the WWE at Comic Con in San Diego on Thursday alongside WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, manager Paul Heyman and injured WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan. Sting spoke about his in-ring future with the WWE among other things with various different outlets.

Sting spoke with WWE.com in an exclusive about his relationship with WWE, wanting to face The Undertaker and more. Sting said he has a good relationship with the WWE.
"My current relationship with the WWE is good," Sting said. "It's always been good. The word out there for so many years has been it hasn't been good...I don't know where it even came from. But no, it's good. I've been talking to Triple H so yes, things are good."

Sting also touched on finally joining the WWE after coming close on several occasions and meeting with Vince McMahon a few times over the years.
"It's kind of like now or never," he said. "At my age, the wave is coming into shore so I'd say it's about time that something happens if we can make it happen."
Sting touched on the WWE purchasing WCW in 2001 and the reasons why he didn't come over right away, while he also added that he wished he came over to WWE sooner.
"It was all quick," Sting said. "WCW was purchased by Vince McMahon. It was all surreal. You know I had thoughts of [joining WWE] during that time, but time went on and I had this contract that...it just legally couldn't have worked at the time."
Sting was rumored to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX, but the WWE opted for Brock Lesnar to face 'Taker and end The Streak. There is hope that Sting vs. Undertaker will happen at WrestleMania 31, but with The Streak broken and 'Taker getting injured, it's up in the air. Sting touched on The Streak ending.
"Do I regret that The Streak ended with 'Taker? Absolutely," Sting, who added he'd like to face John Cena, Randy Orton, The Rock and Triple H, said. "I wanted that streak to stay alive and to be able to face him and to find out. I really wanna know."
Sting also spoke with IGN about being welcomed into the WWE family.
"It's a momentous occasion that's for sure," Sting said about his first public appearance for the WWE to promote his Mattel action figure. "Very first public appearance with WWE. There's so many firsts. WWE first appearance, action figure, video game, WWE fans, Comic Con...All a first for me. So, it was huge."
Sting also spoke about wanting to get into the ring and alluded to wanting to face The Undertaker while saying he's not just in the WWE for video games and an action figure.
"Aside from video games and action figures and t-shirts and things like that, let's just say I'm open for anything," Sting said. "I've been very public about the fact that I'd love to get in the ring at least one more time. and I've named my opponent on and off over the years. It doesn't matter though. Just one more, one more."
The former WCW and TNA icon also spoke about Hogan's influence on him joining the WWE.
"He definitely did in the earlier days for sure," Sting said about Hogan trying to set something up. "He called me a few months back and he was planting a few seeds for sure."
Hogan commented on Sting's public debut for the WWE on his official Twitter account.
"Well,well,well,things just got really interesting now that Sting is in the WWE UNIVERSE,gives me the itch big time brother. HHWWE4Life," he wrote.
He added: "Sting in the WWE UNIVERSE changes everybody's game,believe he could be anywhere. HH"
Sting is now officially a part of the WWE family, but if and when he wrestles a match remains to be seen
