Coventry's annual Christmas light event was held in Broadgate this week.

Thousands arrived to watch the show, which had an unusual twist this year.

Light projections showing the story of Santa's workshop were shown across the surrounding buildings.

However, there the evening received mixed reviews from the public, with some saying they enjoyed it and others saying they preferred the old format.
