Montville shooting death ruled a suicide

MONTVILLE — Authorities today said the fatal shooting Wednesday in Towaco was a suicide.

The Morris County Prosecutor's Office released a statement Wednesday referring to the incident only as a "fatal shooting" and declined to release any details, but Montville Police Capt. Edward Rosellini today said the shooting has since been ruled a suicide.

The incident took place at 93 Washington Court in the Jade Mountain complex, a neighborhood just west of Route 202 near the NJ Transit Boonton line.
