Cassidy Jensen, daughter of Randy and Kristen Jensen of American Falls, was married to Tanner Combs, son of Carl and Brenda Combs, Oakdale, CA on June 30th, 2018 in the LDS Temple in Newport Beach, California.
Cassidy graduated from American Falls High School in 2012 and served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ohio. She graduated from Chapman University in Orange, California with a degree in Political Science. She is currently in her final year of law school at Brigham Young University Law School. Throughout her undergrad education Cassidy worked as Chapman‘s Interfaith President and represented her school both nationally and internationally. She participated in the G-20 Summit in Turkey, representing Chapman University. While in law school Cassidy has competed on the trial advocacy team, worked at a law firm in Hong Kong, and has devoted time to helping victims of domestic violence in both California and Utah. She was recognized by both the Legal Aid Society of San Diego and the California Bar Association for her service. She was the recipient of the Outstanding Service Award in June 2018 from the Legal Aid Society in San Diego. She looks forward to graduating in the spring of 2019, taking the Bar, and using her legal education to help those in need.
Tanner was born and raised in Oakdale, California and graduated from Oakdale High School in 2010 where he enjoyed playing football, basketball and baseball. He served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Brazil. He completed his undergraduate degree in American Studies at Brigham Young University in Provo. Tanner is also in his final year of law school at Brigham Young University. During law school he has competed nationally in trial advocacy tournaments, participated in moot court, and volunteered by helping local community members in need of legal aid. He has spent time in both Texas and California working at private law firms. Upon graduation Tanner looks forward to a career in law.
