During the recently-held Television Critics Association press tour, the two lead stars of CW's Supernatural appeared together for the first time to talk about their experiences now that the show is about to enter its 10th year on air.

Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, or known to their fans as Dean and Sam Winchester of Supernatural, appeared alongside each other during the TCA press tour for the first time since promoting season 2. The show has come a long way, and Jensen Ackles shared what he felt upon entering season 10.

"I think we're all on the same page. We still get excited about it," said Ackles to the critics and the panel, as reported by IGN.com. Ackles also mentioned that though running for a decade, the show has not lost its luster and thrill, making it one of the most-watched television shows today.

"And I think that hasn't tarnished in 10 years. And I remember getting the last script of Season 9, the season finale, and I got all giddy about it. I was excited to see what happens in Season 10. I think that as long as there's that fulfillment, that enjoyment, that excitement, then yeah, we will keep going, and as long as people are hanging in there with us and are still entertained, then we love telling the stories of both of these guys," continued the actor in the same report.

Meanwhile, Ackles' co-star Jared Padalecki talked about how he values his character, and that he knows that the actors of the show are in good hands with the producers and the writers.

"I've spent nine years of my life with him [Sam Winchester]. So I don't want him to be broken down and beaten down into something that I end up not respecting. And I respect this character, and I respect this show, and I respect our writers and my fellow actors and actresses. So I think we know the show enough and our characters enough to, if there's an end coming, I think we'll all see it," said Padalecki.
