Nanjemoy, Md. (ABC7) — A number of family pets are dead after a home caught fire Friday evening in Nanjemoy, Maryland.
According to the fire department, the home of Kasey Naylor at 3595 Port Tobacco Road caught fire from the embers from a burn barrel outside the house. One of the house's residents says they woke up around 5:00 p.m. to find the home was full of smoke.
None of the occupants were seriously injured.
