HIP HOP SPINNER DJ WAXXY HERE ON FRIDAY

MBABANE – Africa’s number one hip hop spinner DJ Waxxy will end his long absence from the Swazi entertainment scene as he is scheduled to perform in the country this weekend.
The former Channel O presenter will perform at an event dubbed ‘The Hot Wax Party’ at Esibayeni Lodge on Friday.


Waxxy is no novice to the local entertainment scene as he has headlined the hip hop floor many times during the annual Swaziland Crossover parties hosted by Swazi Boy Entertainment at the same venue.
Those that have been to his shows know that he has the ability and skills to move the dance floor which has made him a popular crowd puller.


The dreadlocked Nigerian born star has worked at so many radio stations such as Ray Power 100.5, Rhythm 93.7, YFM 99.3 and Metro FM.
He has featured with so many international artist and DJs such as Missy, Jay Sean, Akon, Omarion, Marcus Houston, Sean Paul, Blu Cantre, Junior Reed, Brick n lace, Bow Wow, Busta Rhymes, P Square, Mo Hit All stars and many more.
He also has performed along side Jazzy Jeff, Green Lantern, DJ Drama, DJ Mr Vince, Frank Jez, DJ Kofi, DJ Clue, Porn, Cut Killers, Roger Sanchez, DJ Craze, Woody and many more.

“He is celebrated for his unique touch and amazing skill on the turntables and is guaranteed to wow his fans with his content selection,” said local spinner DJ Wicked who is part of the organising team.
Also in the line-up for the show are local spinners who include Wicked himself, Ice and the old skool genius DJ Ntombz.
Entrance fee cost E80 while doors will open at 7pm.

I think that your trip sounds aaizmng. What a cool event to attend! Where'd you get that colorful wrap (snazzy one-shouldered shirt)? Did you purchase it for the occasion? How do you buy things like that there? Is it just cash or like you negotiate the price or trade things? And the pictures of the red dirt make me nostalgic for Kwale; the dirt is that color there too. Thanks for the birthday email thought! So nice.
