Person shot in possible Gastonia home invasion

GASTONIA, NC (WBTV) - An individual has reportedly been shot several times in Gastonia this evening.
Sergeant Heath McMullan of the Gastonia Police Department confirmed that the shooting was a part of a possible home invasion.
The incident occurred on Pine View Lane near Ashbrook High School.
