P.K. Subban Foundation to host Caribbean Carnival gala Aug. 30

P.K. will host the gala with the theme of Caribbean Carnival.

P.K. Subban’s days with the Montreal Canadiens may be over, but his foundation continues to raise money for sick kids here.

The P.K. Subban Foundation gala will take place Aug. 30 at the Jetée Alexandra in Montreal’s Old Port.

P.K. will host, of course, and this year’s theme is Caribbean Carnival.

A 10-seat table costs $10,000, with single seats for sale at $1,076 each.

Subban made the announcement with a video from the coast of Sardinia — which was only slightly warmer than the scorching 32 C Montreal on Tuesday afternoon.

Proceeds go to the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
