Up-and-coming country singer-songwriter Jackie Lee has been hitting the festival circuit this year, promoting his hit single “Getting Over You” at the likes of Stagecoach, CMA Fest, Windy City Smokeout. He’s also on the bill for the forthcoming Watershed and Route 91 Harvest fests. Next up is an appearance on the “Next From Nashville” stage at Faster Horses Festival in Brooklyn, Michigan, this weekend (July 21-23) — something he’s hyped for, thanks to his fellow musicians.
“This is my first Faster Horses, but so many friends of mine have played it before and have told me what an incredible atmosphere it is,” Lee tells Billboard. “I can’t wait to share the ‘Next From Nashville’ stage with so many other talented artists. Once the sun sets, you can expect me to go into the crowd and be a fan when Brett Eldredge and Luke Bryan take the stage Sunday night. It’s going to be a party!”
As Lee hints, he’s a big fan of everyone on the Faster Horses bill, from headliners Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert to other hitmakers on the roster Cole Swindell, Maddie & Tae and the Randy Rogers Band. While prepping for his performance, Lee made Billboard a pump-up playlist of 15 of his favorite tunes by his fellow Faster Horses acts.

Bobby Bones & the Raging Idiots, “Every Day Is a Good Day”
This is my life motto.
Dan + Shay, “Road Trippin'”
My boys have done it again! This is a jam!
Maddie & Tae, “Downside of Growing Up”
As we grow up, life forces us to make many hard decisions that decide the course of our future.
Randy Rogers Band, “Neon Blues”
In a world of 808 drops and drum machines, you can always count on Randy to have a steel guitar and fiddle.
Brett Eldredge, “Somethin’ I’m Good At”
This song is as fun as Brett’s personality and is a carefree song you can dance to.
Cole Swindell, “You Should Be Here”
I can really relate to this song, and I feel like a lot of other people can, too.
Dierks Bentley, “Black”
Classic Dierks! I can’t think of one Dierks album I wouldn’t buy and share with my friends.
Jon Pardi, “What I Can’t Put Down”
Jon is one of my best friends, and I’m a fangirl of everything he releases. But this is one of my favorites.
Michael Ray, “Real Men Love Jesus”
Not many people talk about loving Jesus in their songs, and I think it was really cool Michael did.
Old Dominion, “No Such Thing as a Broken Heart”
Just a great song about people that may have problems but find a way to make it work and love one another.
Luke Bryan, “Drunk on You”
One of my favorite songs released in the last few years. It’s one of those songs you wish you had written.
Miranda Lambert, “The House That Built Me”
I often try to go back to the house that built me to get a dose of my up bringing. When I can’t, I listen to this song.
Darius Rucker, “Wagon Wheel”
I mean, it’s ‘WAGON WHEEL’! This song is a must-play at every country music festival tailgate.
Craig Campbell, “Outskirts of Heaven”
This song is classic country music through and through.
Jackie Lee, “Getting Over You”
This song has changed my life in so many ways. I love getting to play it every night and seeing people react firsthand!
