You love Dad, the top guy in your life. And yes, you love the father (or stepfather) of your children. And you love your brother, who procreated to give you some adorable nieces and nephews.

Heck, maybe mom has always been all the dad you ever needed.

No matter who they are, you love them so much, you've decided to give them a gift they'll actually appreciate this Father's Day: food, beer, and the opportunity to enjoy both without lifting a finger.

If you're tired of the same old boring gifts, but not sure what to do or where to bring that special father figure in your life come Sunday, June 19, here are ten events happening this Father's Day in South Florida that will let dad sit back and relax — and you won't have to do too much, either.

10. Treat Dad to a Full Moon Beer Pairing Dinner at Shooters Waterfront
3033 NE 32nd Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-566-2855, or visit shooterswaterfront.com.
Enjoy a cold beer — or, more precisely, five — with Dad at Shooters Waterfront’s monthly event. The restaurant will present a five-course beer pairing menu for $49 per person. While star- and sky-gazing from Fort Lauderdale’s Intracoastal Waterway, sous chef Brian Cornellius will lead guests through each tasting course with paired brews specifically chosen to accentuate the palate. The full moon festivities on Father's Day will commence with a welcome glass of the restaurant’s recently launched Shooters Ale.

9. Half-Priced Beer and Kids Eat Free at Big Time Restaurants
Visit bigtimerestaurants.com.
This Father's Day, the Big Time Restaurant Group eateries will be treating dads to half-priced draft and bottled beer all day (and night). The offer is good with the purchase of an entree. If you have kids, the deal gets even sweeter. Those under the age of 10 can eat free from the kid's menu when accompanying dad on his special day. Participating restaurants include Louie Bossi's Ristorante and Big City Tavern in Fort Lauderdale; Grease Burger, Beer & Whiskey Bar and City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill in West Palm Beach; City Oyster & Sushi Bar in Delray Beach; and all Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar locations.

8. Win a Car for Dad at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek
