A bald eagle who suffered from a broken wing is recovering after being rescued by a New York conservation officer, according to CBS 6 in Albany.

Our source says officers with the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) responded to reports of an injured bald eagle on February 20 in the city of Oxbow, New York.

According to the DEC, the eagle's left wing was broken and she was likely hit by a car. She's thought to be around 13 years old.

As you can see in the photos below, officer Peter Jackson made sure to wrap her up in a blanket and ensure she was warm as they headed to a local vet facility!

Luckily, our source says the eagle is doing fine and will likely make a full recovery.

DEC officials say she'll be released back into the wild when she's in full health.
