Officials: Snow Hill Road set to close for road work

Officials say a Maryland roadway will  close later this week for scheduled road work.

The Worcester County Government says road work is scheduled for Friday, July 20 beginning at 5:00 AM.  Officials say Snow Hill Road (Route 12) will be closed in the area of Snow Hill Christian Nursery School for the Maryland State Highway Administration( SHA) project.

SHA reports that the road work should be finished and the road should be re-opened by early Saturday morning. 

Drivers should find alternate routes of travel.
