'I'm used to criticism': Adriano Zumbo, 36, addresses rumours about his relationship with MKR star Nelly Riggio, 27, being the result of an affair
Nelly Riggio and Adriano Zumbo recently celebrated their one-year anniversary.
But things haven't always been easy for the lovebirds, as they were previously the subject of false rumours their relationship began as an affair.
Speaking to TV Week on Monday, Adriano revealed that he is 'used to criticism' but insisted their relationship is 'stronger than ever'.

'I'm used to criticism,' he said. 'In the end, you have to do what makes you happy - the people who love you and are around you are all that matters.'
Nelly, 27, previously dated her My Kitchen Rules co-star JP Huillet for five years.
Her subsequent romance with Adriano, which began after she started working for him in 2016, raised eyebrows at the time.

Adriano confirmed, however, that they have moved on from the speculation and their relationship is at an all-time high.

The couple have even discussed starting a family together, with Adriano suggesting he would like to have two children.

Nelly previously addressed the affair rumours in August last year.
Speaking about her breakup with JP, Nelly told New Idea: 'There were a lot of rumours that it had something to do with Adriano, but that's not true.
'He's not a homewrecker, he knew I was in a relationship. But it just wasn't working with JP any more. We could both tell it was over.'
It is not being suggested that Nelly had an affair with Adriano before her split with JP.

Nelly and Adriano met after she accepted a job at the celebrity chef's successful dessert business.
Nelly - who was then still dating JP - relocated from Brisbane to Sydney in September 2016.
Shortly afterwards, her relationship with JP fell apart and she announced her new romance with Adriano.
