Nikki Bella Might Have Accidentally Confirmed Who the New Cast Member of ‘Total Divas’ Is!
Is Alexa Bliss joining the cast of Total Divas?
It sure looks like she is! Rumors first started swirling earlier this month that Alexa would be joining Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, and the rest of the female WWE wrestlers on the hit E! series and it seems like Nikki accidentally spilled the beans in her latest Instagram post.
The 33-year-old shared a super sexy shot, posing with her pals Natalie "Natalya" Neidhart, Catherine "Lana" Perry, and Alexa (real name Alexis Kaufman) during a girls-only pool day. All four ladies showed off their super toned abs in their bikinis, but Nikki added the hashtag "#TotalDivas" in her caption which sent fans into a frenzy.
"Is this the new member of Total Divas?" one fan asked, and another fan asked "Does this mean Alexa is going to be on Total Divas next season?!"
Even though it hasn't been confirmed yet, it's being heavily speculated that the upcoming Season 7 will include a little bit of a cast shakeup. Former stars Eva Marie and Renee Young will not be returning next season, according to wrestling blog Pro Wrestling Sheet. Alexa Bliss and her bestie (and fellow pro wrestler) Nia Jax are set to be their replacements, joining star Nikki Bella and the rest of the ladies.
The photo also seems to confirm that Nikki will make a return to the series after starring on Season 2 of her Total Divas spinoff Total Bellas later this fall — and she's also going to have a huge change in her story line! Back in April, she got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, wrestling superstar John Cena, so fans will probably get to see all of the behind-the-scenes action surrounding her engagement.
Nikki made a guest appearance at the iHeartRadio Much Music Awards earlier this week, and dished to E! News! about how far along she's gotten in the wedding planning process. And even though she's in the "beginning stages," she confirmed that they'll be set to tie the knot next year!
"Definitely a year — I can't wait too long, he might run off! I gotta lock him in," she laughed.
