A missing person case turned homicide investigation, has led to more charges against a man from Greensboro.The missing person case for James Devon Goolsby, 38, is now being investigated as a homicide, police said.During the investigation into Goolsby's disappearance, John Richardson, 53, was identified as a suspect.Goolsby was originally reported missing to the Greensboro Police Department on March 22.Throughout the investigation, detectives gathered evidence that suggested foul play in Goolsby's disappearance.This evidence led authorities to Richardson, police said.Detectives received information about Goolsby's body being in Henry County, Virginia. Along with Henry County Sheriff's Office deputies, a search was conducted and Goolsby's remains were located on April 14.Richardson was charged in the case on April 22 with first-degree murder, concealment of death, dismember/destroy human remains, robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon.Richardson has also been charged with first-degree murder of Mark Gilbert Jr., 40, on April 19 and Michael Hemphill, 46, on April 13.Richardson is being held at the Guilford County Jail with no bond.
