Pick Your Pet On 'Clear The Shelters' Day At Westchester SPCA

The SPCA of Westchester is hosting a huge adoption event Saturday, with many fees waived.

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, NY — The SPCA is thrilled to announce that it will once again be teaming up with NBC 4 New York/NBC Universal for the annual Clear the Shelters Adoption Event. During this special one-day event, many adoption fees will be waived or reduced.

Your entire family needs to be present and any dog(s) living in the home must attend that day as well.

This year's event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Walk-ins are welcome that day but submitting your application for pre-approval will jumpstart the process.

All animals adopted through the SPCA are examined by a Veterinarian, spayed and neutered, up to date on all vaccines (age appropriate) and microchipped.

“We hope look forward to participating in Clears the Shelters for the fourth year a row and finding loving families for our many wonderful dogs and cats,” says Shannon Laukhuf, Executive Director.

During Clear the Shelters, there will be more than 100 animals for adoption at the SPCA of Westchester’s care campus, located at 590 North State Road in Briarcliff Manor, NY.
