Casper-based Wyoming Medical Center entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Mountain View Regional Hospital, also in Casper, WMC announced April 11.
WMC officials expect to begin operating the 23-bed physician-partnered surgical hospital during the first half of 2018.
During the next few weeks, both institutions will work to finalize the deal. Officials expect to complete the transaction during the first half of 2018, subject to customary regulatory approval.
