Belarus wins two more medals at Winter Paralympics in PyeongChang

On the penultimate day of the Games in South Korea, Belarusian athletes won two more medals.

For the third time now, Svetlana Sakhonenko won the gold in the 7.5 km race among athletes with visual impairment. The victory was quite resounding – Svetlana was 36 seconds faster than Russia’s Mikhalina Lysova.

Yuri Golub claimed the bronze in the 10 km race.

Belarus occupies the 8th place in the total standings. The team has 12 medals – four of each.
