Six Allegheny Gators were named to the 2018 All-NCAC teams after an impressive 6-4 season. It was the Gators first winning campaign since 2010.

Allegheny Gators sophomore Chase Balla was selected as the North Coast Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Year as well as a first team All-NCAC selection to headline a group of six Gators to earn all-NCAC nods this season.

Balla tallied 476 kick return yards and averaged 28.0 yards per return. As a safety, he led the Gators in sacks with 8.5 and also contributed a safety.

Joining Balla on the first team is junior wide receiver Alex Victor. This is his second first-team All-NCAC selection. In 2018, he hauled in 57 catches for 1,020 yards and scored seven touchdowns.

Running back Tyler Balla earned a second-team selection in his senior season. He rushed for 1,012 yards and 13 TDs. Balla ran for over 100 yards six times this season.

Junior offensive lineman Rafael Balanquet also was selected as a second-team All-NCAC player opening up holes for Balla and protecting quarterback Logan Lee.

Senior end Marcus Davenport led the Gators with 13 tackles for loss on his way to a second-team spot.

Senior kicker Zach Bednarowicz rounds out the All-NCAC Gators with a second-team nod. He was efficient, nailing 13 of his 15 field goal attempts, which is the second most all-time for a Gators kicker.
