Maryland man charged with killing roommate at home for adults with mental health disorders

Police have charged a Lanham man with stabbing his roommate to death at a group home for adults with mental health disorders.

Prince George’s County Police officers responded to a call about a stabbing early Saturday morning in the 6000 block of Trexler Road in Lanham.

They found 25-year-old Bryant Stigall with stab wounds in his bedroom. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Robert Jackson, 37, was taken into custody and charged with murder. No motive is yet known, police said.
