Kate Middleton is back in the spotlight after giving birth to her third child, an adorable baby boy, and it's almost as if she never left. Middleton stepped out alongside Prince William as she left the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital, where she had her third child.

For the occasion, Kate dressed in a red Jenny Packham dress with a white-lace Peter Pan collar, while William kept it simple in a blue suit.

The proud parents posed for the cameras gleefully as Kate held onto the adorable baby and William waved to crowds nearby. Together, they stood outside the steps of the Lindo Wing for several moments before promptly returning inside.

If you're surprised to see them out so soon after the baby's birth, don't be, because it's practically royal routine at this point. The mom-of-three made official appearances as she approached 9 months of pregnancy, so with her stepping into the spotlight so soon again, it makes her maternity leave for baby number three extremely short and sweet.

After giving birth to both Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Middleton did not delay introducing them to the world, and returning to her public duties soon after. Even before William and Kate welcomed their third child, we expected their hospital stay to be a quick one.

The timeline of her hospital visit was well mapped out. Due to some handy (parking sign) clues, fans knew beforehand that Middleton would be in and out of the hospital between April 9 and April 30.

Even with a newborn, it looks like it's back to business as usual for the royal couple.
