With week seven looming, the Los Angeles Rams continue to make roster transactions releasing place-holder kicker Cairo Santos, indicating a return is imminent for star kicker Greg Zuerlein:

Last season, GZ was on pace to break the all-time scoring record for any player in league history prior to a back injury knocking him out. This year, Zuerlein injured his groin in the warmups in Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals.

GZ’s return cant be understated because of how good he really is. The accuracy and range that GZ offers is second to none, making him the leagues best kicker and another potent weapon for the Rams’ thriving offense/special teams.

With the recent injury to WR Cooper Kupp, the Rams also signed WR Nick Williams to help nullify the loss and give the receiving group another body while Kupp recovers.

Lastly, the Rams made some practice squad transactions releasing DB Linden Stephens, whom they signed just two weeks ago, and adding LB Travin Howard who was the Rams’ seventh-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
