ORIGINAL STORY (May 1, 4:45 p.m.)
A crash in Shenandoah County caused miles of delays on I-81 NB from Woodstock (Exit 283), northward, to the Toms Brook area. The actual incident was near milepost 291 near Toms Brook, with response closing the left lane around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
Detouring traffic also clogged U.S. Route 11 NB from Woodstock to the Toms Brook interchange where drivers rejoined I-81.
