There’s at least one Mara who isn’t happy with the Giants’ decision to bench Eli Manning.
Actress Kate Mara, niece of Giants co-owner John Mara, took to Twitter on Tuesday to express her sadness at the news the veteran quarterback would be replaced by Geno Smith for Sunday’s game in Oakland.
“ELI,” she wrote with a broken heart and a blue heart emoji.
Mara, a lifelong Giants fan, also re-tweeted messages of support from ex-Giants Victor Cruz and Brandon Jacobs.
