Metal Allegiance Join Soundwave 2016 In Debut Aus Tour

Super group to head our way.

In what will be their debut Australian tour, US super group Metal Allegiance have been announced as the 11th act to perform at Soundwave 2016. 

The band is made up by some of metal's biggest names including Troy Sanders (Mastodon), Mark Osegueda (Death Angel), Alex Sklonick (Testament), Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs), Phil Demmell (Machine Head), and Mark Menghi (Metal Allegiance).

It is believed to be the last of the festival's drip feed announcement before the full lineup drops in the next few weeks - Metal Allegiance join already announced acts Moose Blood, Bullet For My Valentine, Refused, Northlane, Lordi, Dead Letter Circus, Bring Me The Horizon, Failure, Devil You Know and Hatebreed.

Soundwave 2016 will be held on Saturday, 23 January, in Brisbane, Sunday, 24 January, in Sydney, and Tuesday, 26 January, in Melbourne. See the festival's website for more information.
