Carmen Electra sat front row at Christian Siriano’s New York Fashion Week show on Saturday, and she told Page Six she meets a lot of wealthy folks who fail at being fashionable.
“Oh my God, I meet a lot of corny people who have money and no style,” she told us. “I’m like, ‘You have so much money to have the best stylist in the business,’ but I guess some people get stuck in the way they look.”
For anyone on a budget, she advises: “Honestly, you can put an amazing outfit together at H&M — you don’t have to go all the way … and spend your money.” One can own “a couple of little [more pricey] pieces to add that glam, and you get your outfit for a reasonable price. I do that all the time, believe me.”
She says if you splurge: “I mean shoes are always amazing, so if you have a great couple pairs of shoes: a great simple sneaker, and a great pump, or just a great bag.”
