Matthew McConaughey gives kids a safe ride home at University of Texas

Matthew McConaughey would like to make sure you're alright, alright, alright getting home.

The Oscar-winning actor and professional Nice Guy took some time out of his busy schedule to stop by his alma mater, the University of Texas, and lend a helping hand to their safe ride program, SURE Walk. There's even a picture of the actor sitting behind the wheel of a golf cart, shuttling home some very excited students, and one who didn't look up from her phone in time to smile.

Even after seeing the picture, we have questions. Was this a one time thing? Does McConaughey have a new career? Is he starting his Oscar campaign early? Is that girl just texting every single person she knows that McConaughey is driving her home?

Here's to hoping he turns up in other unexpected places, too.
