Man Stabbed To Death In Concord; Police Make Arrest

A suspect in the fatal stabbing at a Concord mobile home park was arrested in Pittsburg.

CONCORD, CA — A man was stabbed to death early Thursday at a Concord mobile home park and an arrest has been made in the suspected homicide, according to Concord police. At 5:22 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a call about a man who was not breathing at an address on Lodge Drive, Concord police Cpl. Summer Galer stated in a news release.

Galer said life-saving measures were performed but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Investigation has shown that the victim was involved in an altercation with a known suspect," Galer said. "During that altercation, the victim was stabbed."

Detectives tracked down the stabbing suspect in Pittsburg, where he was arrested on suspicion of murder, the corporal said.

Concord police were continuing their investigation Thursday and did not disclose the identities of the victim or the suspect.
