SB: James Madison takes two from Carolina

North Carolina dropped a pair of games 5-1 and 7-2 at James Madison on Wednesday at the Dukes' Veterans Memoral Park.
Erin Satterfield had two RBIs on two hits, including her second home run of the season, as the Tar Heels fell to 22-22 overall.
Game One: JMU 5, UNC 1
Niki Prince put the Dukes on the board in the first with a home run out center. JMU added another run in the second, as Cassidy Clayton doubled, advanced to third on a fly out by Madyson Moran and then scored on a throwing error by the Tar Heels.
Carolina posted a run in the fourth as Jenna Kelly led off the inning with an infield single, advanced to second on a ground out by Amber Parrish, and then scored on a hard double to the center field wall by Erin Satterfield.
In the sixth, Moran hit a two-run double to the center field wall before she scored on Catherine Clavin's RBI single to left center, posting the final run in the Dukes' 5-1 win.
Kendra Lynch (1-6) took the loss, retiring three batters and giving up just one earned run in six innings in the circle.
Game Two: JMU 7, UNC 2
Mateen led off game two with a solid single up the middle and advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt by Amy Nece before scoring on an RBI single by Kristen Brown up the middle.
Although UNC struck first, JMU was quick to answer with a four-run bottom half. Niki Prince led off with a walk and moved to second as Hannah Hayes reached on a fielder's choice. Erica Field then reached on UNC's first error, loading the bases for the Dukes. Carolina got two quick outs with a pair of foul outs, but Taylor Newton knocked in the first two runs with a single up the middle. Cassidy Clayton then doubled to left center, and drove in another two runs to make it 4-1.
The Tar Heels added a run in the second on Erin Satterfield's solo homer out left field, cutting JMU's lead to 4-2.
After three quiet innings on both sides, the Dukes posted another three runs in the sixth. Newton led off with a walk and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by Clayton before scoring as Madyson Moran reached base on a second Tar Heel error.
Catherine Clavin came in to pinch hit and sent a two-run homer out left, giving the Dukes' their final two runs of the 7-2 win.
Ashley Bone (1-1) took her second start of the year, pitching six innings in the loss. She gave up two earned runs and six hits while striking out one.
Up Next: North Carolina returns to Chapel Hill for a big weekend at home, hosting No. 6/7 Alabama and Georgia Southern on Friday and Saturday. UNC takes on Alabama at 6 p.m. Friday and again at noon on Saturday, and then the Tar Heels will play
Georgia Southern at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The Eagles and Crimson Tide will meet for a game at 3:30 on Friday prior to UNC's game with Alabama.
There will be several exiting promotions to celebrate the Easter weekend at Anderson Stadium, including an Easter egg hunt on the practice field between games on Saturday, and there will be appearances by the Easter Bunny as well as Rameses.
Saturday is also Carolina Kids Club Day, and kids can take the field with the team for the national anthem. There will be a bounce house to play in and a team autograph session after the second game.
