Mom-Me Connections: New moms need to care for themselves

Are you a new mom, sleeping walking through your days and wide awake at night feeding your child?

Posted Updated

Are you a new mom, sleeping walking through your days and wide awake at night feeding your child? Can you remember the last time you took a long shower or even picked up a book that didn't have a baby on the cover?

Laura Greene, a mom of two, licensed psychologist and co-founder of the new Mom-Me Connections, is here today to give you a little pep talk about why it's so important to take some time out to care for yourself. We're not talking spa days or girls nights out. We're talking regular showers and doing the things that you like - whether it's a good run, a good book or some bad reality TV.

Need to be inspired? Watch the video interview with Greene.

Mom-Me Connections provides support groups for expecting and new moms. Check the More on This section for more about the group and other tips form Greene and her colleague Jill Lokitz.
