FALCON, N.C. — An overturned dump truck closed Interstate-95 in Cumberland County early Wednesday near Falcon for most of the morning. By 10:45 a.m., the road had reopened, but officials said there is still congestion in the area.

Immediately after the crash, the entire road was closed between Exit 65 (for N.C. Highway 82) and Exit 61 (for Wade-Stedman Road) near Godwin-Falcon Road.

By 7:30 a.m., the southbound lanes had reopened, but the northbound side remained closed. At 9:30 a.m., I-95 north was still closed.
