BREUNIG – Joseph P., 28, of Pompano Beach, beloved son of Lloyd and Pat Breunig died unexpectedly in Sauk City, WI on September 22, 1999. He earned his Eagle Scout ranking before graduating from Sauk Prairie High School in 1989. He received his associate degree in interior decorating at Chaffey College in Alta Loma, CA, where he lived and worked for over 5 years. He then moved to Pompano Beach where he was employed as a waiter for nearly 3 years. He is survived by his loving parents, Lloyd and Pat; siblings, David (Kris), Todd (Lisa), Monica Robinson and Tricia Breunig; special friend, Richard Gumbrecht, Ken Gonyo, Gary Malara, Jana Nanak, Bridget Chulinsky and John Doucette, and his dalmation dog, Nitro. CROSBY – Hughey Wilson, 87, was born in Twiggs County, GA, October 1, 1912. He moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 1952 and worked as manager of Schwobilt Clothing Store on Andrews Ave. from 1952 to 1980. Mr. Crosby was a member of First Baptist Church of Ft. Lauderdale. He is survived by his wife, Lula Mae; 2 sons, James W. Crosby of Tallahasse, and Robert H. Crosby of Ft. Lauderale and 4 grandchildren, Clinton Scott Crosby and Patrick Austin Crosby of Tallahassee and Andrew Robert Crosby and Lindy Michelle Crosby of Ft. Lauderdale. DEODATO – Teresa C., of Lighthouse Point, FL, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 1999 at the age of 90. She was a long time resident of Lighthouse Point coming from Brooklyn, NY. Teresa was very active in the community, having belonged to the St. Pauls Womens Club, The North Broward Senior Citizen Club, AARP and the DOE’S of the Greater Pompano Beach Elks Club. She is survived by 2 sons, Dennis and Thomas; 1 daughter, Janet McMahon; 2 sisters, Ellen Pulese and Ann Connusico; 4 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren. FORD – Thomas Edward, 84, of Coconut Creek died on Thursday, October 7,1999. Formery of Cohoes, NY, Mr. Ford has been a resident of Florida since 1973. Thomas was a member of St. James Methodist Church in Cohoes, NY; was a member of The American Federation Of Musicians #13 also in NY, and was a musician for the Army where he served his country throughout WWII. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mildred. Arrangements were made by Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home in Deerfield Beach.

GAMBLE – Virginia Ralston, 88, of Ft. Lauderdale died Sunday, October 3, 1999 at her residence. Survived by her daughter, Nancy Lowery and son-in-law, Mac of Princeton, NJ; sister, Judy Brush of Cartersville, GA; grandchildren, Shannon de Arcos of Miami and Burns M. Lowry, Jr. of Newport Cove, CA; great-grandchildren, Cristina M. Virginia De Arcos and Edward M. De Arcos; and nephew, Edward Drake Brush of Cartersville, GA. Predeceased by her son, Robert Christopher Gamble. Mrs. Gamble was the founder and the 1st president of the Junior League of Ft. Lauderdale, former State Democratic Committee Woman, graduated from the University of Miami in 1932, and was a member of their women’s tennis team. She was a member of the Alter Guild at All Saints Episcopal Church and worked with the Boys Club of Broward County, and various other community organizations.
