Rector man airlifted after head-on crash

STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KAIT) - Crews airlifted a Rector man to a Memphis hospital after a serious car crash in Southeast Missouri Saturday night.

The crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol said just before 9 p.m., Michael S. Lucas, 37, of Rector, drove his Ford Explorer into an Oldsmobile Alero head-on on Route H in Stoddard County, MO.

The report said Lucas didn't have a seatbelt on.

A helicopter took him to the Elvis Presley Trauma Center.

Another helicopter airlifted the driver of the Oldsmobile, Rosetta A. Dyle, 36, of Dexter, MO, to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO with serious injuries.

Meanwhile, an ambulance took Ricky L. Green, 57, of Dudley, MO, to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The report states the crash totaled both vehicles.
