Theresa Caputo has been honest about the strain her career as a medium has placed upon all of the relationships in her life, and now she's speaking frankly about the toll it's put on her marriage.
The star of TLC's Long Island Medium revealed on her show this week that her relationship with husband Larry Caputo is going through a "rough patch," according to E! News. "I interpret it as growing apart," Teresa said in an exclusive clip. "I've changed and he has changed. We're both not happy."
"Since the last season of Long Island Medium and through a period of time, Larry and I's relationship has changed," she said. "We've been there for each other, you know, through thick and thin, you know, good times, and right now are not such great times." While Theresa hasn't mentioned the possibility of a divorce—or what they're doing to save their marriage—fans have noticed the lack of Larry's presence in Theresa's social media posts.
The medium believes her career may have led to some of the tension. "I love what I do. I wouldn't change a thing," she said. "But because of what I do and where I am in my life with my career, every relationship in my life has suffered."
The couple have two children together, and have been married for 28 years. "I don't understand it," she said. "I lay in bed, and I say to myself, 'How did this happen? How did I get here?'" Hopefully we'll see the pair make amends over the course of Season 8, which is currently airing on Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
