Jamie Foxx & Halle Berry Applaud Will Smith Following Tyler Perry Studio Honor

Will Smith is getting major love from his celebrity friends after receiving a major honor at Tyler Perry’s gala.

Over the weekend, Perry held the gala for the grand opening of his Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta.

Perry is the first African American to own a major film studio without any partners or corporate backing. The massive compound spans 330 acres with over 12 sound stages for production.

At the event, Will Smith had a sound stage dedicated to him. Jada Pinkett-Smith shared photos writing, “Congrats to you @willsmith on your sound stage dedication at @tylerperrystudios. You are building such a beautiful legacy around a deeply impactful career in so many ways. I’m very proud of you. Continue to shine light on ... joy💛✨”

The power couple hung out with Oprah, Hillary and Bill Clinton, Spike Lee, Diddy and Chris Rock.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z were at the event and sat with Oprah, Gayle King and Stedman Graham.
