The heads of five central Ohio businesses will be featured at a Romney campaign rally Wednesday afternoonto emphasize "We Did Build This."

The event is meant to achieve more political mileage in response to President Barack Obama's remark about the infrastructure used by businesses, saying "You didn't build that."

The 2 p.m. gathering at Romney's Ohio headquarters will includeE.C. Babbert of E.C. Babbert, Inc.; Dick Jones, president ofJones Topsoil; Ryan Cox, president ofColumbus Contracting Co.; Ray Mason III, owner of Columbus Truck and Equipment; and Mrs. Kelly Moore ofGKM Auto Parts in Zanesville.

A similar rally will take place near Toledo, with others to follow Thursday in Cleveland and Cincinnati.

"The Obama campaign is fervently attempting to walk back the president's insulting remarks, however Ohio's small business owners aren't buying their spin," said Chris Maloney, the Romney campaign's Ohio spokesman."It's clear what President Obama believes because he told us: 'if you've got a business – you didn't build that.' He said it, and he meant it."

The Obama campaign launched a new TV ad today in which the president's campaign calls Romney's accusations a distortion.
