Prep volleyball roundup: Mt. Spokane stays perfect in league with sweep of Rogers

Mt. Spokane def. Rogers (25-12, 25-11, 25-11): Megan DeSonia notched five kills with ten digs and the visiting Wildcats (7-0) swept the Pirates (0-7).

Ferris def. Central Valley (25-22, 25-21, 25-16): Olivia Schwartz had 13 kills with four aces and the Saxons (4-3) swept the visiting Bears (3-4).

North Central def. Shadle Park (25-18, 13-25, 17-25, 25-17, 15-6): Katie Allbery had 11 kills with five aces and the Indians (1-6) beat the Highlanders (0-7) in five sets.

Great Northern League

Pullman def. West Valley (25-13, 25-10, 25-17): Lucy Gao had 28 assists with three blocks and the visiting league-leading Greyhounds (8-1) swept the Eagles (0-9).

East Valley def. Cheney (21-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-22, 15-8): Kiara Brandvold had 11 kills and the visiting Knights (7-2) came from two sets down beat the Blackhawks (3-6).

Northeast 1A

Freeman def. Lakeside (26-24, 25-23, 21-25, 22-25, 17-15): Eva Knight had 10 kills, five blocks and 16 digs and the Scotties (9-1) outlasted the visiting league-leading Eagles (10-1) in five sets.

Colville def. Newport (25-11, 25-6, 27-25): Molly Schauls notched six kills with six aces and the Indians (7-3) swept the visiting Grizzlies (3-7).

Riverside def. Medical Lake (25-23, 25-23, 19-25, 17-25, 15-10): Livvie Winkle had 14 kills with six aces and the visiting Rams (2-9) outlasted the Cardinals (2-8) in five sets.

Wilbur-Creston (5-4) def. visiting Kettle Falls (2-7) in three sets (25-14, 25-14, 25-11).

Liberty (8-3) def. host St. George’s (0-12) in three sets (25-9, 25-9, 25-8) in a nonleague match.

Colfax (8-3) def. visiting Genesee in three sets (25-18, 25-22, 25-16) in a nonleague match.
