South Korea’s central bank left its key interest rate unchanged on Thursday, as expected.

The Bank of Korea kept the benchmark seven-day repurchase rate at 1.25 per cent, as predicted by all 17 economists surveyed by Bloomberg.

The BoK cut rates to the current record low in June 2016.
